It's been my pleasure to work with Jen Baron on staging and design across four properties and nearly two decades! I work with Jen because of her keen eye for design and unique taste that appeals broadly but is never boring. One step into Jen's home or office and you'll understand that design is not a hobby or even merely a career for her - it's a passion and way of life for her. When she staged our first property, a tiny junior one bedroom condo, she explained the whole process to us so we would know what to expect, why it was important, and why some design decisions were being made. It took some work to edit our possessions and organize our space before the staging began, but it was worth the wait - that property sold almost immediately for nearly full ask in a very down market. With our second property, an open timber loft, she helped us design the space to maximize its usefulness, including placement of couches, dividing up big spaces into purposeful areas, and using clear chairs and tables to keep it from looking too crowded. She advised us on upgrading our boxy fireplace to a chic cast iron stove that really pulled the main room together. When it was time to move on from that property, Jen suggested that we use virtual staging techniques which, due to circumstances, would be more convenient and cost-effective without sacrificing our returns. She was right - that property had a bidding war and went for 15% above list. Time and time again, she comes through, whether it's an offhand suggestion to use a simple sheer white curtain to complete a room's look or a "you know what would look REALLY cool there?!" It's her truly unique eye for design and staging that sets her apart (not to mention her experience - she's been doing this since well before HGTV made everyone a staging "expert"). There's a very real difference between design / staging that simply looks like everything else and design / staging that everybody desires. Her design work and staging simply stands out. She goes above and beyond to understand how to make a space look good, using thoughtful pieces and color palettes to create spaces that people want to live in. I highly recommend Jen Baron for your design, staging, and organization needs.

Jen Baron has worked wonders in staging and design for three properties for me. It was hard for me to stage my first place, because I was so attached to my own aesthetic, but I put my trust in Jen as an expert in appealing to a broad range of buyers in a tough market for sellers. Jen was great at decluttering closets, cabinets, and multi purpose rooms. When my friends & family saw the staged version of my condo, they commented that it looked like something out of a magazine. Jen's clean & modern staging helped my place sell in record breaking time. Jen was clutch for me in a second property that needed staging during the pandemic. I really didn't know how we were going to manage marketing a property when nobody was leaving their own homes, but Jen came up with a virtual staging design that motivated people to come take a look at the property in person. My second condo had a new occupant sooner than I could have hoped. Finally, Jen helped with design ideas in my new home. My house was built in the 1920s, so some of the rooms have an odd layout, but she came up with some great ideas for furniture placement that made the space welcoming & functional. Jen also has a rolodex of other professionals she's worked with in the past, and had a great recommendation for the interior painters I hired for my home. My house has a lot of crown molding & an ornate ceiling in the dining room, and the painters Jen recommended were meticulous in executing my black and white theme. Jen is a true professional, and also a vibrant person to work with. She is so creative and passionate about staging & design, she makes what can be a stressful process actually quite fun. If you are looking for a staging and design expert, Jen Baron is your gal!

I worked with Jen a few years ago to redesign my entire condo – bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen. We talked about what my goals were for the space, trying to hone in on what my style was, because I had no idea. After going through a bunch of questions on what I liked, didn’t like, wanted to keep, was willing to part with, etc. Jen decided that my style was mid-century modern celtic…with a splash of comfy. Exactly! I grew up in a home with white walls, so to go from that to beautiful greens and browns was a leap of faith, and I couldn’t be happier. I told her that storage space was important to me. The pieces that she found – a sleeper sofa with a storage ottoman, a storage shelf behind a mirror, and etagere for the bathroom and double the storage in my kitchen showed me that she was listening. I was presented with choices of light fixtures, mirrors, appliances, furniture, etc. I made my choices, and on occasion said, "surprise me". She nailed it every time. The before and after photos of the kitchen and bathroom are particularly incredible - I love my space and how everything flows together. Getting antsy to do it again, and will be reaching out to Home Love when I do.

When it comes to home staging, Jen is an artist and your home is her medium. We’ve worked with Jen a couple of times and now that her new business is officially set up, we can’t wait to work with her again.
A friend and neighbor recommended us to Jen to help us prepare for the sale of our open concept condo. The initial consultation helped us to understand the process, and provided options on what we might do to prepare and ultimately stage our home for sale, as affordably and effectively as possible, and to best ensure a successful sale, ideally, one that produced a quick sale at top dollar.
First she guided us on what would be best to remove from the home to open up the space in every room, and in each closet and cabinet. She helped us to make paint color selections that would appeal to the most buyers and helped us select new light fixtures, fans, etc.
And then she and her team staged the home, creating a beautiful office nook in a space where I never imagined one, and creating a clean lined and elegant space that appealed to the wide range of buyers. As a direct result of her staging, we received 6 offers and sold our condo far above the asking price.
Once we moved into our new home, Jen advised us on paint colors, organization ideas, window treatments, placement of decor, maximizing space, and decorating a large, irregular shaped living room.
We cannot wait to work with Jen on staging and organizing our new home. I’ve gone about as far as I can in terms of my own ideas. So, I know that Jen will build on the choices I’ve made so far to transform our space into a gorgeous, well-organized, and comfortable home. Book now, because once the word gets out about Jen, she won’t have any availability.

Jennifer has helped us organize our 2 homes and make wise investment decisions on interior upgrades. The organization helped us realize we had much more storage space than we thought by increasing the efficinecy of the space we had and helping us declutter by donating items we no longer needed. This improved our lifestyle while living in our home and helped us command a higher sale price than what we expected when we decided to sell. I would recommend Jennifer if you are looking to improve your current living situation or are preparing to sell your home.
